From the beginning of our baby journey up until bringing our daughter home we as first time parents were incredibly nervous, excited and full of questions. Having an amazing Doula like Mika Rock to help guide us through every step of the process has made the entire birth adventure enjoyable and worry free. From creating a birth plan tailored to our wants, being with us during labour for both physical and emotional support to an amazing follow up in our home to discuss any new concerns or questions – Mika’s warmth, knowledge, compassion and insights helped put us at complete ease and allowed us to fully enjoy the miracle at hand. As a bonus she’s also fully available before and after baby’s arrival to answer any question big or small. Before meeting Mika and experiencing all her know-how and fantastic energy my wife and I weren’t 100% sure exactly what a Doula does but now having gone through the birth with one at our side we can attest they are an essential part of the experience and will be recommending Mika to our friends and family.
